Parsons Consulting Engineers Ltd has been appointed to provide structural engineering services for a residential extension involving substantial alterations to load-bearing elements. The works include the design of steel ‘goal-post’ frames to support the rear elevation and internal structural wall, with interconnecting beams to carry loads from the upper floor and extension roof. Our scope also includes foundation design for the steel frame and lintel design for newly created openings.
